The partially scandal-ridden party buses are used for student parties in Norway.

There is much to say about how the party buses have developed. They are dangerous in traffic. We have looked the other way for too long and we are taking action now, says Støre to the newspaper Aftenposten.

Over the years, party buses have been involved in a long series of traffic accidents. According to Transport Minister Jon-Ivar Nygård (Ap), many of the buses are old and technically defective.

The buses are used in a way that is not in line with what a bus should be used for. They are rolling discos at high speed on our roads.
