Last week, once, and this week, twice, South Korea has sent drones with flyers that were released over Pyongyang, according to the closed country's government. If this activity continues, the response may come "with all available attack means", warns North Korea's Foreign Ministry.
The tensions between the two countries, which have never formally made peace after the 1950s war, are now rapidly escalating. The day before yesterday, North Korea announced that the border will be "permanently closed and blocked".
This measure was described as a consequence of "confrontational hysteria" from South Korea and its powerful ally, the USA.
