The Administrative Court has denied a woman's application for a new passport, her fourth in less than five years, according to Smålandsposten.
The law states that, as a general rule, no more than three passports can be issued during a five-year period. The special reasons cited by the woman, that she would be traveling to Africa to get married, were not accepted by the police or the court.
The rules for how many passports a person can be issued were tightened in 2016, following suspicions of abuse.
