A man received life-threatening injuries after being stabbed multiple times in a stairwell in Karlskrona in September. Now, a 25-year-old man has been sentenced to nine years in prison for attempted murder, reports SVT News Blekinge.
The man who was stabbed had been lured out to the stairwell under the pretense that he would sell goods. Instead, he was subjected to a robbery attempt that almost cost him his life, writes Blekinge County Newspaper.
In total, five people were prosecuted after the incident. One is sentenced for robbery attempt, two people are sentenced for attempted gross theft, and one of the accused is fully acquitted.
