The bands playing at the festival are Swedish Tungsten and Hammerfall as well as British Saxon. Tickets for the event, which takes place on July 25, will be released on December 30.
If the response is good, the idea is for the festival to grow in the future.
"Rock on the ruin on a summer evening feels as natural as an ice cream on Storgatan in Borgholm. We look forward to delivering a solid event and then developing the concept", says Richard Teern, co-owner of the organizer Only Live, in a press release.
