Six people have been injured after a traffic accident outside Skellefteå. Three cars were involved in the accident on the national road 95 during Sunday afternoon. It is unclear how seriously injured the affected are.
Four of the persons were taken to hospital by ambulance, while the remaining two sought care on their own. However, it is unclear to the police how many were involved in the actual accident.
There were several people on site and several witnesses have been heard. Whether they were sitting in the cars or came from the side, I do not know, says police regional command officer Eva Leppäaho Mallon.
The alarm about the accident came in at 2:30 pm. It was when a car was about to make a left turn that it was hit from behind and then pushed into an oncoming car.
The police will now make a crime report.
At present, it is unclear what crime classification it will be, says Eva Leppäaho Mallon.
