Several people were killed in Kryvyj Rih in Russian robot attacks on Wednesday. The robots struck a residential building in the town, which is the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's hometown.
Late on Wednesday, nine deaths were confirmed and a further 30 people were reported to have been injured in the attacks.
Zelensky said the attack once again proved that "Ukraine, together with its allies, must strengthen its air defence".
We need as many of these systems as possible, appealed Zelensky, who made a lightning visit to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.
The robot attacks took place on the eve of the G7 leaders' summit, which begins in Fasano in southeastern Italy.
According to advance notice from the French presidential office, the G7 countries will transfer around 50 billion dollars, equivalent to 516 billion kronor, of frozen Russian assets to Ukraine.
