The Italian sausage mortadella is being recalled by the manufacturer Di Luca & Di Luca. The reason is that it does not appear from the ingredient list that the sausage may contain pistachio nuts.
The mortadella has been sold in around 30 Ica stores across the country, both in manual delicatessen counters and pre-packaged in meat counters.
Consumers who are allergic to pistachio nuts are advised to return the sausage if it was purchased after 3 June, writes Di Luca & Di Luca in a press release.
