In the documentary, BBC spoke with over 20 women who worked at the department store Harrods from the 1980s onwards. Several of them testify that they were raped by al-Fayed.
According to the lawyers representing the affected women, they have now received over 150 new allegations.
These are said to consist of a "mix of survivors and individuals with evidence" against al-Fayed, according to the lawyers. Some of the victims were allegedly only 15 or 16 years old at the time of the assaults.
The lawyers are gathering accusations against the department store for enabling "systematic abuse" against its employees – many of them employed as al-Fayed's personal assistants and secretaries over a period of 25 years.
Harrods has stated that they are "utterly shocked" by the allegations and that they have initiated a compensation process for those affected.
