A military officer at the regiment in Skövde sent a swastika in an internal group chat, reports P4 Skaraborg.

The person is now being reported by the Defence Forces.

We, as an authority, with the help of a lawyer, have come to the conclusion that we will make a complaint to the Prosecution Authority regarding this, says Lieutenant Colonel Fredrik Gustafsson, deputy regimental commander, to the radio.

The Defence Forces have, in addition, investigated allegations of Nazi greetings, racist comments, and inappropriate comments about the Holocaust at the regiment. However, the investigation has been dropped since it was one person's word against another.

In connection with the lawyer, we have come to the conclusion that we do not have sufficient evidence to pursue this further, says Fredrik Gustavsson about the dropped investigation.
