The record company must now stop marketing artist Marstein's new album with a picture of Marius Borg Høiby.

Høiby has not given his consent to the photography, or the use of the image in the public launch of Marstein's debut album, according to the Oslo district court.

The album also contains derogatory comments about Høiby and his mother, it is further stated.

"The media storm against Marius Borg Høiby has been long. For him, it has sometimes been extreme", says Høiby's defender Øyvind Bratlien in a written statement.

There has been a storm surrounding Høiby since August, when he was arrested suspected of assaulting a woman he had a relationship with. He later admitted in a statement to NRK that he had used violence against his girlfriend and stated that he had used alcohol and cocaine at the time.

Since then, several allegations of violence against ex-girlfriends have emerged, and he is also suspected of illegal threats in several cases, according to Norwegian police.
