Mc-gangs banned in Norway

Norway bans the motorcycle gang Satudarah in Norway, according to a decision by the country's Supreme Court. "A ban is necessary to prevent serious crime", the court writes in a press release.

The announcement that Satudarah is being banned in Norway is important for crushing the gangs, says Minister of Justice and Emergency Preparedness Emilie Enger Mehl.

There is no doubt that the new ban on criminal gangs is effective. Criminals cannot disguise serious crime as a motorcycle club and expect to get away with it, she says.

The court finds that members of Satudarah have repeatedly committed serious crimes against people's lives, health, and freedom.

The Supreme Court notes that the motorcycle interest appears to be subordinate in the club, as it is not a requirement to have a motorcycle, for example.

The motorcycle gang is already banned in Germany and the Netherlands. In Denmark, the association was dissolved in 2023 and instead changed its name to Comanches.
