The novel is coming in May and revolves around Berit Bergström, who thinks that life has passed her by. She puts angry notes in her neighbors' mailboxes and is at the bottom of the hierarchy at the office – where she longs for the boss.
But an unexpected event suddenly gives her a chance to become strong and irresistible. According to the publisher, the book is about "aging with dignity and never giving up, regardless of age".
"Steel-Berit" is Martina Haag's thirteenth book.
