The background is an article that the newspaper published during the Eurovision last year, when Marcus and Martinus competed for Sweden.
The newspaper's reviewer wrote then "and now: The Qui... brothers, excuse me, Marcus and Martinus".
The complaint was filed by the brothers' father and manager Kjell-Erik Gunnarsen, who believed that the comparison with the Nazi leader Vidkun Quisling, considered Norway's greatest traitor of all time, was a clear breach of the country's press ethics rules.
But after its review, the PFU does not think that the phrase breaks the rules, writes VG. At the same time, the committee understands that the duo did not appreciate the description.
Reviewer Ralf Lofstad has previously apologized and called his language use a "humorous misfire".
