At least 16 people died when a long-distance bus and a truck collided head-on on the Andean high plateau in Bolivia. Another 14 people were injured.
The accident occurred on Saturday on a road near the border with Chile. The truck, which came from the neighboring country, is suspected of having some kind of smuggled goods in the cargo, reports Bolivian media.
According to preliminary information, it is believed to have driven into the wrong lane.
