A man who was taken to the hospital after an apartment fire in Frölunda, Gothenburg, has died, according to the police.
The man was severely injured when he was taken to the hospital.
The alarm about the fire came at half past midnight on Sunday night. Neighbors had smelled smoke, and the apartment was smoke-filled when the rescue team's smoke divers went in.
The police classify the incident as general carelessness.
