A 25-year-old man in Skara is being prosecuted for attempted murder of a woman at the end of March.
According to the indictment, the man on several occasions assaulted her with punches and kicks, and also applied such hard chokeholds that she fainted and suffered fractures to her neck.
He is also alleged to have threatened to kill her and harm her children.
The man is also being prosecuted for unlawful threats against another woman and two other individuals, whom he allegedly threatened via messages on the woman's mobile phone. He denies the charges.
