Sunday night, a man in his 40s was found dead outdoors in Karlstad after an alarm about a serious violent crime. The police are investigating the incident as a murder but no one has been arrested.
I have no further information at present, except that one cannot rule out a crime, says Adam Isaksson Samara, press spokesperson for the police.
A technical investigation has been conducted at the scene.
What has been found there will be taken further, says Isaksson Samara on Monday morning.
The police will continue to go door-to-door in the area and will also interrogate people who may have seen or heard something.
