A 34-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder of three girls following an incident in Karlskrona, according to the Prosecution Authority in a press release.
In mid-May, a 15-year-old girl was stabbed in the arm. As the now-charged man attempted to stab the girl in the head, she managed to bite him and flee the scene. The girl was taken to hospital by ambulance and underwent surgery.
"The two other girls managed to flee the scene and alert the police. It was only due to temporary circumstances that the girls were not stabbed. Charges have therefore been brought for three cases of attempted murder," says Deputy Chief Prosecutor Malin Rydell Almroth in the press release.
