Argentine police have arrested one of the two men accused of supplying the artist and One Direction star Liam Payne with drugs.
Earlier in the week, five people were charged with involvement in the artist's death. The manager of the hotel where the death occurred and an employee are suspected of manslaughter. A person described as a close friend of Liam Payne has also been charged with the same crime.
In addition to them, two people are suspected of selling illegal drugs to the artist, including the 24-year-old man who has now been arrested, accused of delivering cocaine to Payne two days before his death.
According to the prosecutor, Payne had consumed cocaine, alcohol, and a prescription antidepressant medication before he fell to his death from a balcony at Hotel Casa Sur in Buenos Aires on October 16 last year.
A new court hearing is scheduled to take place in the coming days.
