A 25-year-old man has been detained on probable cause suspected of terrorist financing.
The man was arrested on Thursday at Arlanda, according to information to TV4 News. He was detained by Attunda District Court on Friday afternoon.
He is suspected of gross terrorist financing in Stockholm County, says Chief Prosecutor Per Lindqvist to TT.
What the suspicions specifically concern is not known. Nor how the man responds to them.
The court has imposed a gag order on all parties, says Per Lindqvist.
According to the detention application, it appears that the suspected man is registered south of Stockholm. The suspected crimes are alleged to have been committed from July 1, 2022, to July 31, 2023.
The preliminary investigation is being conducted by the Security Police.
