The EU countries' heads of state and government have now been briefed digitally by France's President Emmanuel Macron about his meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington on Monday.
However, no further details are being made public – at least not yet.
"Very useful for preparing our extra EU summit on March 6, where we will make decisions on our support to Ukraine and the strengthening of Europe's defense", writes EU Council President António Costa on X.
