Lundberg School is being sued by a former student for discrimination, reports P4 Värmland.
The former student has several disabilities, including epilepsy and a visual impairment, and claims that he did not receive sufficient adapted support from the school, which led to high absenteeism and a suspension.
He has sometimes been found outdoors unconscious, and has then not been found by staff but by other students. That kind of care from the school's side is of course completely unacceptable, says the student's legal representative Stellan Gärde to P4.
The student hopes for damages of nearly one million kronor to cover the costs of the boarding school. According to P4, it appears in the court documents that the school has offered some support to the student. The school's principal does not want to comment on the matter.
