Colorado's forward and team captain Gabriel Landeskog says he will be seen on the ice this year, after two full seasons of injury absence due to a troublesome knee that has required several surgeries.
The Swede appeared at a golf tournament in Castle Pines where he played the entire course, reports Denver Post.
The 31-year-old former Djurgården player has been playing in Colorado since the 2011-2012 season, and he hopes to be part of the home premiere – although he doesn't dare promise it.
It's not so much about "if" anymore, but when. I haven't come this far to fool around, so I'm just trying to be patient all the way and check off all the boxes, he says to the newspaper.
