On Thursday, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson participated in a digital meeting within the "Coalition of the Willing", which brings together Ukraine's partners in Europe.
"We do not know how the war in Ukraine will end, or when it will end, but we know that how it ends will affect our part of the world for at least a generation to come. Therefore, a strong Ukraine that can defend itself is important not only for Ukraine but also for Sweden and all of Europe," says Kristersson in a written statement after the meeting.
"Next week I will meet my colleagues in the EU where frozen Russian assets are high on the agenda. We will continue to increase pressure on Russia, in close cooperation with our allies," Kristersson continues.
