"Filming someone in the middle of a private argument means that you can capture some pretty unpleasant statements. But I'm really not proud of some of what I say in the clips that have been published," says David Druid in a comment via Sveriges Radio's press service.
The break was confirmed by SR press director Claes Bertilson, as Aftonbladet first reported.
"We became aware of the publication about David this morning, when he contacted his boss directly. That's when he learned that it had been published," Bertilson writes in an email to TT.
"We are obviously not going into the details of the conversation. But what we can say is that both we and David fully understand the strong feelings that the material arouses," he writes.
Swedish Radio has agreed with David Druid that he will not take part in any broadcasts next week.
