Kristersson on Iran travellers: "Deeply provocative"

The Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) lashes out at Swedes who travel to Iran.

It is deeply provocative that people living in Sweden continue to travel to Iran, despite the Foreign Ministry's strict advice against it, says Kristersson in his speech in Almedalen in Visby.

The Foreign Ministry also estimates that 5,000 Swedish citizens or people living in Sweden will travel to Lebanon this summer. There, the Foreign Ministry's travel advisory is the strongest possible, to leave the country immediately.

This is no joke. My message today is that anyone who defies a sharp warning from the Foreign Ministry cannot count on getting help if something happens.
