IFK Norrköping's Kristoffer Khazeni has undergone a new operation for the brain tumor he has been afflicted with, the Allsvenskan club reports on its website.
The operation was performed days before Christmas.
"The entire IFK Norrköping, with the medical staff at the forefront, will do everything we can to support Kristoffer Khazeni and his family through the rehabilitation," says IFK Norrköping's sports manager Magni Fannberg.
The procedure is described as successful and Khazeni reports that he is feeling well and recovering after the operation.
The club also reports that Khazeni, after the operation, wants to be left in peace and does not want to comment further on his health status.
The tumor was discovered at the beginning of 2022 and a few months later he underwent surgery.
