Sirius got a taste of the start when they traveled to Strandvallen in Blekinge for a match against Mjällby. Already in the seventh minute, Robbie Ure made it 1–0. Thereafter, Mjällby took over the game, but it was not until the beginning of the second half that the home team could turn the game around and win 2–1, through goals by Viktor Gustafsson and Timo Stavitski.
It was a tough start. But no panic. We knew that if we continue to play like in the first half, there will be a payoff. And it came with two goals, says Mjällby's Viktor Gustafsson in HBO Max.
Just as bad off were Hammarby, who were down against the bottom team Värnamo 1–2 at halftime.
In the second half, Hammarby turned the game around and won the match 3–2 after goals by Nahir Besara and Jusef Erabi.
- We showed strength to once again be able to turn a match around. We have good confidence from the last matches and know that we can turn a match around, says Nahir Besara in HBO Max.
Thus, the standings remain unchanged at the top with Mjällby in the lead, four points ahead of second-place Hammarby.
