Kanye West and the estate of artist Donna Summer have reached a settlement regarding West's unauthorised sampling of the disco queen's 1977 track "I Feel Love", according to BBC reports.
The estate sued Kanye West in February when the sampling was done on the track "Good (Don't Die)", which was featured on his album "Vultures 1". The artist, who now goes by Ye, is said to have asked for permission to use the track but was refused.
Since the track was released, it has been removed from streaming services and, according to the estate's representative, West has agreed that it will remain so. The track will also not be allowed to be used in other contexts.
In the settlement, the parties have agreed to pay their own costs in the case. Other terms of the agreement have not been made public.
Kanye West has not commented on the settlement.
