Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi is being hailed for stopping a suicide attempt in Nashville, USA on Tuesday evening, according to BBC.
Jon Bon Jovi was on a bridge, seemingly filming a music video, when a woman climbed over the railing. The Nashville police have shared a video clip where Bon Jovi, together with another person, is seen approaching the woman after waving to her.
After a brief conversation, the woman is helped to climb back over to the right side of the railing, where she receives a hug from Jon Bon Jovi.
The Nashville police are praising the effort on social media.
"Bon Jovi helped to persuade the woman to climb back from the edge over the Cumberland River, back to safety", they write according to BBC.
