Israel's President Isaac Herzog praises the USA as a "true ally" to Israel, in a statement after the country's attack on Iran.
"I would like to specially thank our good friend the USA for being a true ally, and for the open and secret cooperation", says the President in a statement.
During the night towards Saturday, Israel attacked military targets in Iran, in response to ballistic missiles that Iran previously fired at Israel in October.
It is the first time that Israel's military has openly attacked Iran.
