The police do not rule out a connection between the two explosions last night, one in Gullspång and the other on Hisingen in Gothenburg, reports P4 Skaraborg.
The explosions occurred with an eight-minute interval.
At 11:03 pm, the Gothenburg police received an alarm about a loud bang at a gate to an apartment building on Hisingen.
At 11:11 pm, an alarm was received about an explosion at an apartment building in Gullspång, about 20 miles away.
In Gullspång, a man is being held, suspected of the crime.
The events are being investigated separately, but the police and prosecutor are also investigating whether there may be a connection between the two crimes, according to the radio channel.
It's a general investigative measure to check other cases, it's not much more than that, comments Lars Johansson, who is the prosecutor in the Gullspång case, to TT.
Otherwise, he is tight-lipped about the investigation and the crimes that occurred so close together in time.
I have no comment on that, he replies to the question of whether there is a concrete connection between the explosions.
No personal injuries have been reported in connection with the explosions, according to the police.
In Gothenburg, no one has been arrested yet.
