More unscrupulous gaming companies are to be shut out of the market. This is the purpose of the inquiry that the government is now setting up.
"We will stop unscrupulous gaming companies that exploit vulnerable consumers. We will do this by amending the Gaming Act so that it becomes more effective", says Minister for Financial Markets Niklas Wykman (The Moderate Party) in a press release.
The inquiry is to present its proposals on 17 September 2025.
