It is not only in Sweden that inflation is picking up again. Norway and Denmark are also seeing the same development. Consumer prices in Norway rose by 3.6 percent in February compared to the same period last year. This was significantly more than market expectations, which were at an increase of 2.6 percent according to Bloomberg's compilation.
This after, among other things, food prices rose by 1.8 percent compared to the previous month, according to the Statistics Norway.
Even Denmark, which has not had the same inflation pressure as, for example, Sweden, is now following suit. Consumer prices rose by 2.0 percent in annual terms in February.
