Volvo Cars sold over 61,600 cars globally in October – an increase of 3 percent compared to the same period last year.
The increased sales are mainly due to a stronger demand for electric cars in Europe, the company writes in a press release. Sales in both China and the USA decreased.
The share of fully electric cars sold in October accounted for 22 percent of total sales.
So far this year, Volvo Cars has sold over 622,000 cars globally, an increase of 9 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
