Sources in the West tell Bloomberg that the regime in Moscow has increased its support for Iran's ambition to acquire nuclear weapons in exchange for ballistic missiles in the war against Ukraine.
The development is said to have been discussed by British and American officials when US President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer met in Washington last week for a strategic meeting on foreign policy.
A spokesperson for the White House National Security Council stated on Saturday that Biden clarified that the US is ready to use all means available to prevent an Iranian nuclear escalation.
Iran has long claimed that the country is not striving to acquire nuclear weapons.
