The Rescue Service Storgöteborg has paid out millions incorrectly, a investigation shows, which Göteborgs-Posten reports on.
The investigation was initiated after whistleblower alerts about, among other things, corruption, and has been conducted by a law firm. However, no corruption has been proven.
Two high-ranking executives and two employees were suspended after the alerts. All except one have returned to their positions.
One of the suspended has previously told the newspaper that there were already decisions to remove incorrect compensations before the whistleblower alert came in.
