An important message to the public (VMA) was issued in Öckerö municipality in Bohuslän at 4 pm on Thursday. Disruptions to the mobile network caused problems, among other things, for some people to call the emergency number 112.
The municipal management group went into what is called crisis mode and residents in the area were urged to remove their SIM card from their mobile phone to be able to reach 112.
At 7 pm, it was announced that the problems had been resolved.
