The municipality sent staff to the user - but with double staffing. On Thursday, the union imposed a work stoppage, which led to all work at the care recipient's premises ceasing with a threat of fine.
It is completely unacceptable to send us in as staff when there is a clear threat. You cannot expose anyone to that risk, in that case, they should have first made sure the weapon is gone, says a nurse to the newspaper.
The nurse who had the weapon pointed at her is on sick leave after the incident on Monday. The municipality states in writing to KA that the work stoppage was a correct decision, and that "information about what happened has clarified during the week".
The municipality has also reported the incident to the police.
