Liam Payne died after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires and the forensic examination showed that he had traces of alcohol, cocaine, and prescription antidepressant drugs in his body.

The prosecutor had previously expressed suspicions that Payne may have been so intoxicated that he was not contactable or knew what he was doing at the time of his death.

Someone with three permille alcohol in their blood is on the verge of unconsciousness. The Swedish limit for drunk driving is 0.10 milligrams of alcohol per liter of exhaled air, which corresponds to approximately 0.2 permille in the blood.
