The guerrilla movement EMC in Colombia is calling for a boycott of the UN conference COP16 on biological diversity in Cali, which begins on 21 October.
"Faced with the war with which (the authorities) responded to our desire for peace before COP16, we urge the national and international delegates to abstain from participating", writes EMC in an X-post.
EMC is a breakaway faction from the Farc guerrilla and is led by rebels who have not accepted the peace agreement that Farc signed in 2016.
