Bowler Nora Johansson makes a success in her European Championship debut. On Friday, she won All Event and set a European record over 24 series with 5,596 points.
"It's indescribable. Great fun to be able to take gold in All Event in my first championship at senior level. It's a receipt that I've played well all the way. I've found my way into the game and been able to strike", she says according to a press release.
Johansson also broke Helén Johnsson's 16-year-old European record by 52 points.
Nora Johansson was later in the evening part of the team when Sweden won gold in the 5-player event.
"We're doing so well as a team and fighting all the way. It's great fun to win together with the whole team", says Johansson, who has now taken three golds, one silver and one bronze in the championship in Wittelsheim, France.
