In the spring, the British speedway star Tai Woffinden, 34, was close to losing his life in a nasty crash – now he is planning a comeback.
I decided about three weeks ago, I want to drive again to a hundred percent, he says to The Sun and continues:
I am not affected by what happened. It's just a normal rehabilitation process from an injury.
It was in March that Tai Woffinden, who competes for Västervik in Sweden, crashed during a training match with his Polish team Stal Rzeszów. He broke several bones and was put in a medical coma.
I will be back in 2026, he promised in an interview.
