Golberg was the strongest in the sprint. American Gus Schumacher snatched second place ahead of Golberg's compatriot Harald Østberg Amundsen.
It's a curse to win the last competition before a championship, so it feels good to come second, says Schumacher to SVT.
But the question was whether Schumacher would get to keep his second place. The jury found that he had not broken the rules in the duel with Norwegian Andreas Fjorden Ree in the sprint track.
Edvin Anger was the best Swedish finisher in seventh place, just over 15 seconds behind Golberg. A form indication ahead of the World Championship in Trondheim, but he had to struggle in the tough climbs.
It was tough. You get to the top and look 45 years older. I'm very pleased that my body is responding and it's promising. Now I'll recover and then head to Bruksvallarna for a pre-camp, says Anger to SVT.
