According to Der Spiegel, the German actress's death was announced by her manager on Friday.
Hannelore Hoger made herself known, apart from her role in the TV series "Bella Block", also for her roles on the theater stage and in the film world. She played, among other things, in Volker Schlöndorff's film "Katarina Blum's Lost Honor" (1975) and in the TV series "Heimat II" (1992).
"The stars of the theater sky mourn. Hannelore Hoger was the very definition of a great actress", comments Carsten Brosda, chairman of the German theater association, on her death.
