Four leaders of IS were among the total 14 people from the terrorist sect who were killed in a US raid in Iraq in August, according to the US military command for the Middle East, Centcom, in a post on X.
According to Centcom, three of the leaders were in various ways responsible for IS activities in Iraq, while the fourth oversaw the organization's technological development.
The American raid took place on August 29 and was carried out in cooperation with the Iraqi security service.
