Last summer, it became clear that David Lindgren was forced to leave the hosting role for the TV4 program after three seasons. Now, he's back – but as a contestant.
The last time I was in the greenroom, I felt like I wanted to try it out, so I was really happy when they asked if I wanted to participate, says Lindgren to Aftonbladet.
Lindgren is the last name to be added to the list of already announced celebrities who will dance. Previously, Cecilia Frode, Tommy Myllymäki, Isa Östling, Rickard Olsson, Theo Haraldsson, Manoel "Junior" Marques Lerin, Mini Andén, Carolina Klüft, and Arantxa Álvarez were confirmed.
"Let's dance" makes a comeback on March 15 after being on hiatus for a year. The format has changed in several ways, including the orchestra being scrapped and new, more modern dances being introduced.
Parts of the jury are also new. Chairman Tony Irving will be joined this year by artist Eric Saade and professional dancer Taya Shawki. The new hosts are Johanna Nordström and Pär Lernström.
