Two men, 41 and 29 years old, are being prosecuted for handling large quantities of narcotics in Sweden in 2020.
The older man is suspected of importing five kilograms of cocaine into Sweden as part of a criminal network, which he then stored, transported, and handed over.
He is being prosecuted for extremely serious drug smuggling and extremely serious drug offenses.
The man, according to the indictment, has previously had a leading position in the former criminal network M-falangen in Malmö.
The 41-year-old left Sweden in 2015 and was arrested outside Barcelona in Spain in December last year after being internationally sought. He was then brought to Sweden.
The prosecutor is now seeking that the man, who is not a Swedish citizen, be deported.
The 29-year-old man is being prosecuted for gross drug offenses and drug offenses of the normal grade. This is based on the suspicion that he, together with others, stored and acquired various types of narcotics with the intention of handing them over.
