Viktor Johansson wins the short film prize Startsladden for his film "True artist". The prize was awarded during the Gothenburg film festival.
The film is a poetic portrayal of the relationship between a father and a son and the jury writes in its motivation:
"Here is a strong and inspiring confidence in the short format. A tender and fragmented storytelling where the viewer is given the opportunity to fill in. In the small, the big is contained."
The prize has a total value of 420,000 kronor in the form of film technology, cash, and services and is one of the largest short film prizes in the world.
